Voilà écoute attentive du dernier Radiohead et je dois dire que je ne suis pas décu. "15 step" pour ouvrir le bal avec une intro de type musique éléctronique; batterie + voix pendant prsque une minute puis guitare et basse pour une montée progressive. "Bodysnatchers" assez Radiohead dans l'esprit. "Nude" passe comme le vent avec une telle légerté, putain de voix et superbe production; les guitares sont présentes mais soft et appaisées. "Weird fishes" continue dans cette veine de mélancolie contemplative avec toujours cette influence électro sur la batterie. "All I need", on a presque là une rythmique hip hop. C'est impressionant comme tout est mesuré et maitrisé. Le chant est vraiment clean mais dans le bon sens. Le morceau monte bien avec les notes de pianos ete rythme qui accélère. "faust arp" guitare accoustique + cello + chant, peut être le trou normand de l'album. "Reckoner", je commence un peu à m'ennuyer, ca manque un peu de nerfs à ce stade. Cette belle production manque un peu d'accrocs, je trouve la basse un peu trop en rerait. "House of cars" est agréable dés l'intro bien mélodique. Ce morceau me fait penser à certaines chansons un peu bluesy cool de house of love."Jigsaw falling into place" remet unpeu de rythme. "Videotape" finit l'album ans la tonalité générale du disque.

1. Like a Rolling Stone, Bob Dylan : Bon j'ai jamais été un grand fan de Dylan (problème de génération je suppose), même s'il a eu une grosse influence et que c'est un peu le stéréotype du song writter.

2. Satisfaction, The Rolling Stones : pourquoi pas les stones... Mais Satisfaction, franchement? Streetfighting man pourquoi pas.

3. Imagine, John Lennon : Lennon avec le temps c'est devenu trés conventionnel, surtout "Imagine".

4. What's Going On, Marvin Gaye : Sur le même album, j'aurais choisi "Innercity blues" qui est bluffante.

5. Respect, Aretha Franklin : Bon. C'est comme pour Ray Charles plus bas. Certes, un standard mais quant à être la 5° meilleure chanson de tout les temps...

6. Good Vibrations, The Beach Boys : Je suis pas trés client des Beach boys. Je préfère les prendre avec humour.

7. Johnny B. Goode, Chuck Berry : Décidément, cette liste devrait s'appeler "Famous" et non pas "greatest". D'autres morceaux de Berry comme "merry christmas baby" sont plus... touchant. Johnny b. Good, c'est de l'exercice de style.

8. Hey Jude, The Beatles : Hey jude est une grosse daube en comparaison avec d'autre morceaux des scarabés."Come Together" ou autres...

9. Smells Like Teen Spirit, Nirvana : Bon, c'est pareil. la plus connue, pas la meilleure.

10. What'd I Say, Ray Charles : Dans un certain style, peut être. "Giorgia" du monsieur aurait été un meilleur prétendant.

I'm not found of others guitars than Gibson & Fender. I really like Les Paul for the very good sustain it gives and I like it because it's heavy & it sounds heavy, and rich. Fender is an interesting alternative because it can change  my way of playing with a brighter and lighter sound. But defenitly I 'm a Les Paul fan. But here is this guitar: a BC Rich Mockingbird (model NJ classic) which I find very attractive :

A nice shape. The colour makes it less agressive as usaually. I really like the head of this guitar. The sound seems to be loud and heavy as I like it with a very good sustain. The neck looks very pleasant. 585 euros. My anniversary is on the 11 th february. Thks.

Today, I decided to become intertional. So and until it will break my balls (sorry son), I will write in English. I mean in bad english. First of all,The Cure is playing in Paris on the 12th of march in Bercy. Will i go and see them again? I don't like gigs in Stadium (it's like impersonal puppets show with an awful sound). But I am a massive fan of Ze Cure. What esle? At the time, I'm playing some covers on my own (trying to sing as well as I can, but in fact it's not very bright), but there's something interseting in those songs. I'm playing them on accoustic. I'm playing a low version of "love will tear us apart" and it begins to sound quite rigth. I'm also playing "Boys don't cry" in a funky/ Jazzy way with the same chords but going in reverse (something like D / C#m / Bm /A for verse) and I must admit the idea is intersting (the realisation is still hesitating). I've got a low version of "Walk on the wild side" that I've have been playing once with the band and a speedy version of "pale blue eyes" but alittle bit too short. I'm playing a C/F#/G/Gm  shity version of "Creep"from Radiohead. I'm playing a good version of "working class hero" which I think is better than the one from Green day. I've got a folk version of "in between days" from The Cure. And finally I try myself on "wish you were here" from Pink Floyd, but my singing is truly bad (my friend Hugo has got a much better voice to sing this kind of song, like for exemple his version of "father & son" that is killing). PS: Once Hugo playing bass & singing and Olivier playing drums have made an incredible version of "the river" from Bruce Springsteen. I'm still amazed of it. It was so good, I couldn't play a single guitar note. And to end with this post, we have tried to perform some others covers with the band: "passenger side" from Wilco, "Roxanne" from Police, "Knocking on heaven's door" and a trashy version of "I wanna be your dog". I also remenber a try on an Afghan Whigs song, but I never succed in playing the chorus and a very aproximative "here comes your man" from the pixies.

Dans lé série, trés bon album, je ne saurais que trop vous onseiller cet excellent album des cars. "just what i needed"  ou "moving in steeo" sont deux morceaux abolument fabuleux et renvoi bein des trucs de maintenant à des années lumières.
